The LAWASIA Employment Law Committee is delighted to announce the 12th LAWASIA Employment Law Conference, in association with our local hosts the Sabah Law Society, in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo on 8-10 June 2023.

We are particularly pleased that this, the latest in our ongoing program of LAWASIA Employment Law Conferences, will be our first in-person event since Fiji in early 2019. Our Malaysian colleagues have long been strong supporters of our events and we are especially pleased that this will be our first ever conference in Malaysian Borneo.

The program comprises of keynote addresses and focused business sessions on practical issues currently topical for employment lawyers across our region, including those with an interest in issues at the interface with commercial law. Delegates will hear presentations from eminent judges and lawyers from a range of jurisdictions across our region.

As many of you will know personally, LAWASIA Employment Law Conferences have become well known for the easy collegiality enjoyed by delegates at our conferences, it has become a hallmark of our events.

As Chair of the LAWASIA Employment Law Committee it is my pleasure to invite you to register for the Conference, to experience the professional development offered by the program, to enjoy the legendary natural beauty of Kota Kinabalu and surrounding Sabah, and to meet new colleagues and confer again with old friends.
